Owners of the Chamberlain MyQ Garage™ (sold separately) system realize the convenience of being able to remotely open and close a garage door via a compatible smartphone or tablet, whether just in the driveway or across town in their office. Now the MyQ Garage can be empowered to do even more by adding on the Additional Sensor for Chamberlain MyQ Garage™. The add-on sensor lets you monitor and control a second MyQ Garage-compatible garage door opener (see below for compatibility details). Just install the second sensor onto your second garage door and set up with the MyQ Home Control app (available for iPhone® and Android devices). The sensor can be programmed to turn on garage lights, control up to two garage door openers and send custom alerts when the door is opened. About Chamberlain MyQ Garage The Chamberlain MyQ Garage lets you open or close your garage door from a compatible smartphone or tablet. Installation is a breeze. Just mount the Wi-Fi hub, attach the sensor to the inside of your garage door, download the app, follow the instructions and you're ready to roll. Set up customized alerts so you know when your garage door opens or closes. MyQ Garage works with most garage door openers made after 1993, and with sectional garage doors (1-piece doors are not supported). Check compatibility with the list below. Compatible Garage Door Openers Your garage door opener must have safety-reversing sensors, which can be found at the bottom of the track of the door. These sensors prevent the door from closing when there is something blocking the path of the door.
