The Philips Hue White and Color Ambiance A19 Single Bulb requires a Philips Hue bridge* for use and works in conjunction with the Philips Hue lighting system (available separately). Worry-free control, at home and away Control your lights from across the room or across town. Use the app's schedule function to make it seem like you're home when you're not. Set lights to come on at a pre-determined time or turn off gradually in the evening. When away, use the app to check if you mistakenly left lights on, or have them turn on for your arrival home. Apple HomeKit compatible Hue Lights are also Apple HomeKit compatible, making it easy to use your voice to light your home and more. To get started, pair your Philips Hue white and color ambiance starter kit with Apple HomeKit technology. Once paired, you can ask Siri to turn on or dim your lights, recall presets without touching a single button and even link your lights to other Apple HomeKit enabled devices, via third party apps. Each Hue bulb lasts up to 15,000 hours, or about 13.7 years based on typical usage of three hours per day.
